Friday afternoon carpet bomb

Jim Puplava has been talking these past few weekends about how to spot shorters operating in the market. One of their widely-used tactics is called "Carpet Bombing" where out of the blue, huge blocks of shares equal to 5 or ten times usual trading volume are dumped wholesale onto the market, progressively taking out the bids.
Well wouldn't you know it. Last Friday 419,000 UC shares got dumped in the span of ten minutes. You know as well as the next trader that to get the best possible sales price, you gradually divest shares selling a bit at a time over several days and into strength as much as possible. On the other hand if your goal is to drive down the share price, then pick a time like a Friday afternoon when everyone's out enjoying a nice Summer day and sell a whack of shares. The only problem is stock manipulation is an illegal practice punishable by laws of the land.
I find it incredible how these organized criminals continue to openly and brazenly short with such impunity, thumbing their noses at the company, it's investors and market regulators. I eagerly look forward to the day when the regulators finally charge and prosecute the people responsible for perpetrating these crimes, and punish them severely, meaning people go to jail, permanently lose the right to trade in the markets and are levied multi-million fines. The good news is their time is coming thanks to the movement started by Puplava against these pinstripe suited counterfeiters who will soon be trading their outfits for chains and orange jumpsuits.
