Message: Treasury’s Plan Would Give Fed Wide New Power!!!

Denogadi;

My point is NOT to slag the worth of Gold, but to help individuals understant the nature of many (NOT all) Big Time Gold Bugs. For those who were not actively investing in the late 1970's and for those too young to bave been doing so then, the ability to dispose of any personally held Physical Gold in a timely manner is really NOT an option. There are usually hefty handling fees involved in doing so to consider as well.

Though NOT being a gold bug, I do believe gold will maintain a very good and attractive price level, and more so in the next few years. However, it is typically a better choice for small time investors to purchase shares in prospective profitable near future mines or existing gold miners with good prospective profit margins going froward. I refer to it as "Better to have Gold in the Ground than Gold in Hand".  Exchange Traded Certificates and or Funds specializing in the Commodity are only recently an option for consideration by those interested in SPECULATING in the price of gold.

Otherwise I would be very very careful playing with gold.
