So, does this mean the US is not alone or are they still the leader? The article sounds more like a desperate gasp of hot air by those hoping to rekindle fears in the ignorant of willful design and to shoot beyond the always blissful. What can people do with Gold. It is so illiquid. Where is the flood of money? The Banks are hording it by the sounds of things and consequently there is less circulating. Rate of currency circulation is but an other factor in estimating the currency float and its effect on consumption. Is consumption, in the aggregate, increasing, and if so, where? Is facilitating market liquidity the same as increasing the supply of money? Where is all the Dead Paper? That erases wealth but who is holding the cash (credits to their accounts) for the now Dead Paper? Any help on this stuff. Explanations as opposed to vested interests venting, or advertising, or what ever it is they are doing. Are they trying to keep up the level of fear and panic they may have been successful in instilling in whoever has listened and reacted. If so, to who's benefit? Old Joe
