I have been communicating with Snug the Joiner on the McFauld's forum about his phone call this morning with Neil Novac (SPQ).
I was confused about the McFauld’s winter drill initiatives that are kicking off when to my understanding; the final aerial survey info has not been submitted to Billiken Managment or the participating JBL players.
Jim Voisin of UC communicated 01/30 that “The JBL ( James Bay Lowlands ) drill program is awaiting clear geophysical data to base the line cutting ground geophysics and drill hole spotting before proceeding. I hope to have all the cleaned up data before me in the next few weeks”. So I have been waiting patiently for the “cleaned up data”
I got real interested in Snug’s dialogue with Neil when he shared that “On the topic of McFaulds East & West, Jim Voisin of UC Resources is driving these projects. A meeting is scheduled to take place next week where Jim will pitch his ideas. Decisions will be made at that time with regards to moving forward on these projects”.
So my immediate reaction was Hurrah!! The aerial survey results are in.
But alas … I was only speculating
Arlo helped me out on the McFauld's forum and provided the following insight on Neil’s activity ‘up at the SPQ/FWR/KWG chromite and PGM option site last week and where he had spotted the first drill hole location to spud February 15.
I queried how this could be done without the most current data. Arlo advised that “the drill was ready so they are going ahead with their best guess based on old information. New aerials will still be a week or two away based on the news I received from Agoracom on the FWR site.”
So here we are again. The best chance of excellent immediate news was that UC and Billiken had the “cleaned up data” and that Jim was meeting with SPQ next week to make decisions for the 2008 drilling season.
I can’t see Jim getting a case of the giddy-ups and committing to drill locations when the scientific data and professional analysis is so nearly available. The best I can muster for optimism is that UC and SPQ are communicating in good faith and that they will be meeting next week where Jim will be “pitching his ideas”. Fortunately Neil can obviously provide insight based on the old data but I suspect that there will not be a NR coming out of this meeting on the number and location of holes for the 2008 season.
Soon though …
