Hi LD!

I was frequently in touch with Hamelin during the time he ran UC Resources.  I chatted with the guys at the UC booth this past weekend in Vancouver, and I was told that the deal for McFaulds was brought to the table by Voisen and now that he is he current President of UC, that at least is bullish going forward if it was indeed his vision that enabled the company to get exposure to the district.  I think the company is committed to creating some value there and it is not just another asset they stumbled into.  I recall speaking with Hamelin when that deal was announced and I was not a big fan, since I thought UC should focus on Mexico.  Of course the deal looks pretty good to me now.

I have been a shareholder for about 2 years, and recently bought more shares of UC.  I think there is risk, but I also believe that the company has value in the exploration lands, and the La Yesca operation will be restarted such that positive cash flow can be generated.  So it seems like the risk to me to be a buyer again, even though my average cost is way lower.
