Investor Relations Questions:
1) What is the relative timeframe for release of assay results for the remaining three holes in McFaulds?
The results from the remaining 3 holes are overdue and we expect them very soon from the assay lab. Once the results are available, we will release the news to the public.
2) What are the plans for future drilling in McFaulds? As this is likely the primary exploration focus for UC, when is this planned (ideally)? Is there any indication as to the magnitude of the program (metres)?
The program has two main objectives: We have VMS targets that if prove themselves, can increase our copper zinc/tonnage at all of our prospects, we also have some targets that exhibit “Noront signatures”. These are prevalent on McFaulds west and McFaulds 1 and 3. Our geological team will be analyzing all available data to make the appropriate decision on drill targets. We are very pleased with our opportunities in the McFauld’s area and believe that of all the juniors in the area we have one of the most attractive land packages.
3) Although UC has an option to obtain a 55% in the KWG/SPQ property based on exploration expenditures, is it expected that both KWG and SPQ intend to focus financial resources to expand the extent of exploration?
Uc is operator of all the properties in the joint venture and at present has a schedule to expend money to “earn in”. This schedule may be accelerated on those lands. Further spending has not been discussed, yet it is in the interest of all parties to focus resources on potential discoveries and that is definitely the spirit of the relationship
4) Has there been any discussion about Phase III in La Soledad and any indication as to how many metres are planned?
Phase III at La Soledad has been planned and drilling is expected to commence shortly to follow up on the two “bonanza grade” holes that have been discovered once the rainy season is over. We are looking for a 3rd extension of the vein system, at which point we will then do some infill drilling and provide the market with a resource. From there we intent to put a major drill program together and bring the project to pre-feasibility. We are very optimistic about this past producing site, and believe it will be a valuable core asset of the company.
5) When can shareholders expect an update regarding La Yesca and the status of the mill?
La Yesca updates have been discussed and circulated internally for review, by officers and directors. Progress there is made daily, recovery rates of gold and silver are our main focus, and we have intensified our lab work to reach our lofty targets there, critical to the economics of the project. The mill is state of the art, and has run feed at 200tpd and we expect it to run at 600tpd with the adjustments made in the last 8 months.
6) Are there any plans to explore around La Cometa or La Refugio?
Cometa and Refugio have undergone major drill campaigns and host some exciting targets, mapping has been completed and surface sampling campaigns have been undertaken. We do have plans to drill these targets, the schedule for that will be a function of resource availability; priority falls behind the drill program at La Soledad.
7) When are annual financial statements expected to be released?
Our year end financial statements are expected to be filed by October 28, 2007.
