So it will be interesting to see where the McFauld's participants go from here. Many share prices are trading close to the point before the excitement began as if there is supposedly little or no value in being located right beside what could be the next Noranda!

I'm not a conspiracy theorist by any stretch but the huge volumes of selling from Anonymous across all the area stakeholders and within the same timeframe sure has me wondering. The bashers were out in force on even the NOT board before trading resumed and at one point the bid/ask was in the $1.50 range ahead of the open but the SP recovered nicely as the day progressed. Point is if I didn't know any better I'd say the trading action reeks of some kind of organized takedown and the clear losers were every miner surrounding the NOT encampment.

More naked shorting? We'll probably never know because the Ontario Securities guys refuse to levy punitive fines to discourage chronic offenders. Beats me why they always look the other way or if pushed, levy piddly fines that represent but a small fraction of the profits reaped (more like raped) mostly from small retail investors. On the other hand we see plenty of examples of retail investors who get caught with their hands in the cookie jar and are fined heavily and often are denied the right to trade for several years. Just goes to show you who the regulatory authorities are protecting and it isn't the little guy.

At any rate I welcome this new forum with open arms as we finally have an opportunity to restore some sanity and focus on discussing core issues surrounding UC rather than poking fun at those who are sincerely trying to express their opinions. Ciao for now!
