Unfortunately you are right, Muddywaters et al have been using these tactics south of the border for sometime, and their authorities have been unable, or unwilling to thwart it.

My concern is, that they are now focusing on Canadian Corporations. It will be interesting to see if the Canadian watchdogs are anymore effective than their US counterparts in putting a stop to this, and fast.

These are professional shorters, they're big, they're smart and they've near destroyed more than one company. The fact that a foreign interest can operate in Canada and potentially start decimating Canadin Corporations should be of the utmost concern to everyone. Particularly our politicians and security commisions.
