American credit unions are classed as non profits. They are “close bond”

Canada credit unions, particularly in SK and BC are at least 10 - 15 yrs ahead of the Americans. Technology is sophistated, secure and always advancing. Canada has much more stringent requirements in banking security than our American counter parts.
