Lori has on 2 or 3 occasions I believe, sued BB posters for defamation and libel. 

I can google two, 2010 and 2013, but I think there was also an earlier one, maybe aorund 2006?  

On that basis I think it's fairly certain that they keep their eye on the boards, or at least some member of the team, don't you think?

There has been a flurry of posts urging peple to "make the call to Lori", which suggests to me she wants to engage, on her terms at least. If that is the case, I would expect her or one of the team to keep an eye out for responses and reaction.

That's why I thought the email was a good idea, it gives her the oportunity to engage with everyone in a formal way, by posting on her own website, and people will judge her on her replies. 

Not that I expect her to do that of course, but it gives an opportunity.
