An unedited excerpt from my book, would you buy it? Non fiction, not based on true story, but is the true story.

I decided to make a run for it. I felt the best thing to do, was to separate myself from my family to perhaps ensure their safety. My family had done nothing to warrant any such attention from them and it was obvious, they wanted me. I felt I had to get to Alberta as quickly as I could,to unite with the majority of shareholders I knew, in person, if I wasn't murdered first. Somehow I felt, that at least some of the answers as to this incredulous pursuit and intimidation, would be revealed to me there, or even less yet, a better understanding. My senses and intuition had forwarned me long in advance, that if they had intended to actually murder me, they had every opportunity to do it, in the past. Whereas I was still alive and they were attempting to intimidate by fear tactics, this allowed me to believe I still had a chance to reveal more of the truth and I was determined to fight to the end. I was not afraid to die.

The thousand dollars I withdrew from my business account earlier that day, would at least enable me to buy gas and food with cash. Quick math suggested that the amount should suffice to get me to Alberta without using a chip installed credit card. I knew it was strategic to avoid using any credit cards if I was successful in losing the vehicles tailing me, for I knew of their sophisticated tracking methods. The most current depiction of such methods, was the ability of my pursuers to quickly find me, after shaking them, once my digital phone was plugged back in.I tested this several times to ascertain if this was the case, during the pursuit. Each time had the same results, I would power off my phone, then do some fancy and high speed maneuvering and loose them. I was fortunate enough over my lifetime, that it was imprinted within my brain and attached to adrenaline, that during a chase of any kind, be as unpredictable as possible. Perhaps enhanced from watching a couple James Bond movies in my past? Nevertheless, I accessed this type of action and found it to be successful during the pursuit. Irony enters here, when I share the "voice" from the Elantra's compromised radio asking one time during the pursuit; "do you think you are James Bond?", or something very similar to that statement.I would then plug my phone back in, and several would appear within a couple of minutes, mostly different and new vehicles to the pursuit. The pursuit was extensive to the degree that my estimates of vehicles involved in this pursuit of me, was over seventy vehicles and quite possibly over one hundred, by the time it ended. I laugh to myself as I share this, because yet to this day,it does seem very fantastic to have had that many vehicles involved in an attempt to silence me. It only enhanced the theory to the utmost for me, that the prize, the Tesoro property, had to be the biggest gold/copper find ever on this planet. And for "the greed" to make such an attempt to silence, without actually murdering me, told me much more.

The vehicles following me, seemed to be able to read my thoughts of running towards Alberta, for they tightened their tailing distance and proceeded to box me in, flanking , which enabled me to get a glimpse at two of the occupants in one vehicle. This glimpse was very important and would not be registered as a significance by me, until months later, when I was more able to think, undistracted. Everything was so surreal and when one is fighting for their life, the adrenaline takes control and the focus of the mind at times like these, are soley on escape and/or resisting with all you have within you. I am a fighter by nature, and knew I could not give up, although greatly out numbered in the event now unfolding.
Everything is so weird. I am speeding down streets of Dartmouth, reaching speeds of probably 100 km,s in 60km speed zones, 9 o,clock on a Sunday evening, with approximately 10 to 15 vehicles in hot pursuit at any given time, and not a police cruiser in sight. As I fly by closed businesses and parking lots, my peripheral vision picks up headlights after headlights coming on, of vehicles that would join in the chase and even attempt to cut me off.
I whip the Elantra up over the curb and cut across a gas station entrance where a Paramedic vehicle is stopped and the two medics just standing outside of their vehicle watching, as I zoom by. I think, "ok, this should surely prompt some police attention to this chase", but it never comes.
