Keep in mind, the opinions on this site are for the most part speculation and are not necessarily the opinions of the company WITHOUT PREJUDICE
In a quick search for evidence to support my pal Sculpin I have found this from both a SLI news release and from the website:
Additional interpretation of the Quantec geophysical data by in-house exploration personnel and McElhanney Engineering Group continues and results from these studies are being utilized to maximize exploration data and guide the drilling program.
I do not see anything about drill results. The wording indicates that SLI is using Mcelhanney to interpret Quantecs data and subsequently using that information for exploration including guiding the drill program. Guiding a drill program is obviously very different that building a resource estimate with the results.
Based on what SLI has told us and looking at the expertise of Mcelhanny the more logical assumption to make is that Mcelhanney was contracted for mapping and surveying such things as drill collars, structural lineaments geological features, historic workings and sampling etc. Why would anyone assume that they are building a resource estimate which is not part of their expertise. SLI will hire a geologist like Paul Grey to do resource estimates when the time comes.
If someone has contradictory information please post it.
