In 2005, the North American Union, "Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America "; was set in motion. The U.S. would direct and control the three countries forming the union, of which are ; Canada, U.S. and Mexico. This "new union" would need a currency backed by gold, whereas the BRIC countries were quickly hoarding gold, to do the same, back a currency by precious metals/ natural resources, like oil. The new North American Union currency, was to be called, the "Amero".

It is not surprising to see Bairds connection with Barrick being publicized and enhanced, whereas he has been involved with all this in the past.
