This open letter is endorsed by many impressive legal sources as evidenced in the list at the end of the letter. Please note, the many COMMON LAW individuals that have also endorsed this letter to Parliment. The first paragraph of the letter pretty well sums up the dangers I have been commenting on previously, of this proposed bill.
