Here is a protest from Haiti, with an interesting comment; "Haiti has seen many anti-government protests in recent months calling for President Michael Martelly to step down, amid a growing anger over the high levels of government corruption. Elections have been delayed now for years."
All around the world these protests are accelerating, and by what we see with the Canadian governments non action in SLI and the stock markets case, there is little wonder why people must protest, when their interests are not protected.
