Many successful Companies "Continually Improve"

I see that now, with OUR Company.

For example, Hole #8 took approx 15 months to correct the depth.

Now, with the last correction, it only took within 4 days to correct the errors.

That, IMO, is "Continuous Improvement"

However, when you look @ that 4 day window, 2 days being the weekend, when, or what actually happened?

Did they go pay them on the Friday, or first thing Monday morning, just prior to the correction NR?

Did they have them paid for already, but forgot?

Did someone else have them pre-paid, then ooops? (I assume not, right?)

What could possibly be the explanation, for this 4 day window (less the weekend)?

Any other possibilities?
