Yes Mrs C, and a few other countries as well. S.A. may be used in a corporate name by any country that employs Civil Law. In the link provided, a quick look at the map at the top right of the page, shows the countries in blue which may use S.A. after their company name. But also, the abbreviation can be applied to South Australia as well, which enjoys Common Law. There may also be another country or two as well that is not mentioned by utilizing this means below. I wish to say also, that where we are in times of great change, that it becomes quite easy to expect things out of the so called norm of the past, meaning that it may be possible to have a Canadian company with that abbreviation.
