LOL BDF! A strange world we live in with strange laws. If it can be perceived or interpreted from Section 137 that directors can walk away from liabilities and hand a company over to shareholders, it would not surprise me. Laws are specifically designed to favour the corporate aspect as well as designed to disuade and discourage anyone trying to seek any right they thought they had or were mislead to believe they have. All in all, the system is designed to entrench a certain hierarchy until there is nothing left worthwhile to them. It is perhaps a bit more amazing that the populace votes politicians and law makers in office that design laws that are contrary to the very public interest that elected them to power. After centuries of so called civilized manner, one may think it would be so easy to enact simple laws that would be just for all, instead of favouring a few. I believe many of you shareholders have had first hand experience with your politicians asking them for help, where some say they don,t have time, some pass the buck and some others just tremble in their beds hauling the covers up over their head so the boogie man don,t get them, hilarious actually. A George Orwell?
