The name change coule be because the focus of the company has changed (as African Queen did recently) or to try and distance the company from the memory of all that has occurred as St. Elias Mines. A Google search will not find reference any more for example.

The rollback reduces the number of shares in issue to a more attractive number from a market perspective, and allow the company to try and raise money as the 60c - 80c (IMO) new shareprice is above the 5c threshhold demanded by the market.

Of course a look at what occurred when Van Gold did such a rollback is a tad concerning, as it has fallen all the way back to the original price BEFORE the rollback!
