A reminder that on CBC,s Market Place tonight, around 8 or 9 PM tonight, there will be a program that had a hidden camera set up to record perhaps some misleading statements made by FA,s (financial advisors). I may perhaps be a little late with this reminder, but if some have many channels, I feel you may find it in a different time slot.

We have entertained the FA profession here in the past on this forum and how it may have pertained to this investment in the past. I will also say that we have seen certain FA advocates here in this forum, suggesting and suggested that investors seek their advice. It is and has also been stated by regulatory agencies as well securities, to consult FA,s. This is very disturbing when regulators suggest that investors do this and put their trust into FA,s. It would sort of have any investor feeling that where a regulator has perhaps endorsed the FA profession, that it is accredited.

One of the biggest presentable problems with any FA establishing a high degree of accreditation, is how can they possible understand the full dynamics of any financial instrument and all the affecting parts, let alone several varying instruments? If an FA does understand multiple instruments, how can they honestly opine when a human element of genuity (or for the political correct folks, genuineness), is part of the equation?What an FA gives a client on any investment decision, is merely an opinion, and when there is an individual agenda or motive attached, how can a regulator sincerely attach accreditation? To make it simple, it is totally absurd for any regulator or share issuer, to suggest to contact a financial advisor.
