Investors should check with the places that they hold their shares with, ie; TD, RBC. They should make sure that their boxes are ticked on their trading accounts to ensure that they receive the Information/proxy Circular in the mail. If this box is not ticked appropriately, you may not receive proxies to vote with. So, this is very important.

As for Registered shareholders of Certificates, your information should be directly mailed to you.

Even though you may have had this box checked in the past to receive proxy material, it does not guarantee that it is still checked. Sometimes, little glitches in trading accounts have affected the status of these boxes in the past by some shareholders, and they found out that the status of this box was unknowingly changed. I recall last year that the status of these boxes in two of several of my accounts had been changed, unbeknownst to me.Luckily I was fortunate enough to check the status and have it corrected before the Circular/proxy material was set to arrive, although I voted the Green Proxy.

Apparently, shareholders have to be in receipt of their proxies 21 days before the AGM date, this may require them to be mailed to shareholders at least 1 week prior the 21 days.
