" Titan 24 - leading deep earth imaging technology for delineating ore bodies to depth.
Titan 24 considered a “Mine Finder” geophysical system.
Development costs for Titan 24 were so expensive that Quantec sold 15% of Titan 24 technology to Barrick and 15% to Noranda recovering 100% of its development costs. Both Barrick and Noranda took payment in kind (Quantec completed surveys for them for essentially free.) Quantec now owns a 100% interest.
Measuring parameters of DC (resistivity), IP (chargeability) and MT (magnetotelluric resistivity), Titan 24 measures to depths of 750 meters with IP and can explore beyond 1.5 kilometers with MT data.
Titan employs distributed array technology for data acquisition pioneered in the oil and gas industry. By measuring 24 or more stations simultaneously, Titan 24 is able to efficiently record and process a vast amount of data. By sampling more data, faster and simultaneously, it provides increased reliability and accuracy of information compared to other methods.
Majority of Titan 24 surveys completed are for major mining companies.
Tesoro Project covered entirely by Quantec Titan 24 Survey completed in two stages: Stage 1 - 9 survey lines totalling 21.6lkm, Stage 2 – 18 survey lines totalling 43.2lkm.
Titan 24 anomalies directly correlate with areas of known mesothermal gold mineralization particularly within the Main and Parallel Tesoro Structural Corridors.
Deep anomalies suggest the presence of significant mineralization and/or alteration zones at depth.
3D geophysical modeling of Titan 24 Surveys identifies two massive anomalies: 1,800m long x 1,700m wide x 1,300m thick, the other being 800m long x 1,000m wide x 300m thick.
Titan 24 Survey identifies both deep and shallow drill targets, 55 geophysical anomalies and recommends 52 drill holes.
Numerous anomalies with the same geophysical signature as the anomalies occurring within the Main Ctructural Corridor are also present outside the corridor.
Titan 24 Surveys locate disseminated gold zones on surface."
