With all due respect. If you look at the mining markets throughout the tenure of this managements direction (over 10 years) there have been plenty of company's that have had success as well as those who have taken a beating. I would also suggest those that have taken beatings over such a long stretch...many have had leadership changes implemented as those steering the ship were held accountable for thier lack of success.

As for the 2.80 mirage ... under no circumstances should this be taken as an indicator of ANY success. There was absolutely no substance or real world driver to the rise in the SP...and as future developments revealed it was mostly driven by misinformation and in some cases outright lies.

Business success is never determined by SP, as shareprice is only an indicator of market sentiment in the direction of that company....is it possible for a successful business to have SP growth in parallel to its successes...of course. I am just saying they are simply independant of one another.

Case in point would be...both Apple and BreX had soaring SP's during thier best years...I'd think you would agree that Apple has been a proper success and BreX management wouldn't be deemed a success based on thier SP run up?

Success of a company is based on measurables and the many intangibles that lead to positive measurables.

Financial stability, cash flow, intelligent expenditures, hiring practices, asset growth and protection, shareholder support, market and industry support, countless strategic decisions...These are just a few of the many things that determine success.

So as far as I can see...there have been few if any successes and countless failures.

I am open to hearing about all the successes that management has had over the last 10+ years...we have heard plenty about the failures.

S.
