I know everyone is waiting like a child before Christmas for the court results, me included. But may I suggest it may take a few days yet?

To start, this should have never went to court in the first place and identifies problems with existing legislation involving securities regulators, exchanges, Provincial judicial systems, to only name a portion of how many aspects of our society this decision may effect. This will not be an easy decision for the Judge by any means, the decision may be easy when the consideration of the publics best interest is recognized, but its the domino effect to the whole connected system that also has to be considered and wrote up in the Judges decision. I would suspect a little more may be asked of the Judge in writing up his decision, whereas it will affect many other investors, not only SLI shareholders. We do know many eyes are on this case, from many different places.

The outcome of this decision may very well be used as a legal basis in the future and needs to be as refined as can be to suit upcoming similar cases and also act as a basis for possibly new legislation. This case could very well be the foundation for future change in the markets towards the protection of investors as well as identifying more existing contadictory laws or misplaced invested authoritives. I suspect the decision to be lengthy and take time to formulate or comprise into an example to be used by others.

So I guess what I am trying to say, is that give this a few days yet in which to hear the result. Much work and thought may have to go into his written decision, with referencing, particularily in legislation from the various authorities involved like the securities commision and Exchange. The Judge knows in his own mind that he must protect the publics interest and uphold this democratic system, thats the easy part, the challenge will be when he finds the contradictory and perhaps inadequate laws that were supposed to be in place to protect the shareholder and most likely end up writing some law of his own to accomodate his decision.

Molson has privately shared some you tubes with me that suggests that legislation in the markets is already being looked at by the politicians, so it has started already. I take this as a very good sign and perhaps our letters to politicians were noticed by someone there? And I would like to take this time to show my great respect, gratitude, appreciation and more for all the work Molson has done here through many important contributions.
