I am here filing papers and such, continuously watching how this progresses,.
Human rights issues may play a part in any, proceedings for me. It depends on circumstance.
I filed my response to the litigation today, whereas I recognize today as being the first day served with the Notice of Civil Litigation.
I had to get some papers copied at the court house, it cost $1 per page!
A closer look at the judicial system and the cost of doing things, lets one easily see why so many people let their rights be violated by big money. This is a very sad thing and shows that rights are more or less bought and are not free. When big money has an endless supply of funds, their rights have a better chance of staying intact than those of the poor guy when it comes to legal matters and courts. Its also kinda sad to see in a legal aid brochure, a donation box to give when legal aid in B.C. is provincially funded.
This is why there is so much corruption in this world, people are silenced by people with money and threat of litigation, that most of the time, the poor are forced to back off and the money gets its way. But, this is changing all around our world, as more and more are standing up for their rights and are having more tools available to them in fighting for their rights. We are amidst the times of great change in this world and I believe good things are to come after the changes have been made.
