off shore release strategy much like ours

Upon reading the article below, I have come to realize an awkward position CBC may be in.
It appears to me that CBC may have been purposely chosen to reveal the information of who is on the list from Canada. Whats interesting, if the author of the article is correct, that CBC seems to get about $1 billion dollars a year from taxpayers. This must be awarded by the government and politicians from some department. If there happens to be any connections to any of these departments or even CBC high end employees, this could get very interesting in deed. And where so many other media have been given the same info, CBC will have a hard time holding this back and must reveal it to the public or at least investigators if they are in receipt of questionable info. Also the 15% that will be paid by the Government will have documentation attached, that sooner or later it has to be revealed to the public, one way or another.
This strategy is much like our strategy in which our concerns have been sent to so many levels of government and other departments, and failure to act is witnessed by each department, and I will also add that ignorance is no defence on their part/s.. These concerns are documented and the replies received from the departments that were curteous enough to send replies. So, if in the future it comes down to accountability and responsibility by these supposedly protective departments, we have proof that we did our part and that perhaps they passed the buck or turned a blind eye. I will be watching this sharply, and if any off shore names are linked to any of the places we sent letters to, this will add in another interesting element in our favour and perhaps to build a case against these departments, depending on the severity of any possible outcomes of data being released to the public.
See, in the article below, the author makes this quote; "
"There is no law in Canada against owning an offshore account. It is only illegal if used to avoid or evade taxes.
So why have one then, if it's not to avoid the taxman?"
And a question I would ask "if someone of power that is responsible for a portion of the public has an off shore account, what does that actually say for their character in any position they may hold?"
IMO
