I see the Alberta Investors Protection group has come up with the idea of public meetings to inform the public. As we have many great speakers among our shareholders, that are capable of public speaking, we may be able to co organize some meetings with other groups. There are plenty of investors in this country, and the world for that matter, that have lots in what is supposed to be a market with reasonable security. Its not only the Financial system, but the Judicial System here as well, that appears to be dysfunctional. A simple example of a dysfunctional Judicial system is, when a criminal gets charged a mere fraction in a fine, for the actual damages caused to people. This fine then becomes just a cost of doing business to the criminal in many cases, with no restitution to the victims. So, its a totally unfair system where the victim must pay to take the perpetrator to court, and end up still getting nothing, because the criminal will have everything spent or hidden. The courts dont take these criminals out of circulation, rather in most cases, they reprimand them a touch, and see them show up 10 years later involved in a crime again of similar nature, while not paying their fines or restitution handed down by the courts.
I am sorry I got a bit off track here, but I was just trying to show how everything is intertwined and how it affects all Canadians.
IMO
