The regulators are every bit as much to blame as Lori and the BOD. Numerous requests by shareholders over the years, resulted in inaction by the regulators and may also speak of high incompetence on their part or their employees. These regulators have been alerted more than once by investors and there is documentation of that, placing a degree of accountability upon them, should an inquiry be held at a later date into how this was allowed to happen. Managements total disregard for timely disclosure has been emphasised by investors for years to the refgulators, as well as what can blatantly be described as inadequate news releases where much information is with held. I am truly amazed at the quantity of inadequacies by management over the years that was allowed to go unheaded despite of the awarness by the regulators. Again, as I have said before, by doing this, the regulators seem to have taken a contradictory position of upholding integrity of the markets in general. Its the regulators responsibility to ensure investors are protected and ensure confidence in these markets. When investor pleas fall on deaf ears, it reveals a problem with the whole system up to the highest levels of authority in this country.
Not only has the Canadian regulators been informed of our circumstance, but also the U.S. regulators as well. I have failed to see any feed back south side yet, and quite understandably so, whereas the crackdown on much bigger crimes continue, leaving little time for the lesser cases at this time, however, I do expect some interest in the future as things unfold. Also, the IOSCO has been contacted, surprising enough, it appears Canada may not be a member of this global securities overhead.
