Good afternoon to you all. As you've noticed, many posts were taken down earlier today. Some of them have been reinstated after editing out small breaches. Many were not reinstated.

I know emotions are riding high. I've been there. With Aurelian, with Noront and more.

The key is to debate but not sink into personal attacks or profanity. I read several messages that were well written, only to include a short, rule-breaking sentence (profanity, personal attack, etc.).

Make your points. Make your comebacks. Keep them factual. Realize that many of you will have to agree to disagree.

We don't want to police the board and have a great deal of trust in our HUB Leaders. They do a great job and are often unappreciated. They're human and even they can make mistakes. Same goes for our new community monitors.

However, as has taken place on other boards on occasion, we will step in and get heavy handed if the board starts to get out of control. I don't want to do it but I will to make sure we don't become like every other board on the web.

Please keep this in mind as you post from this point forward. Express yourselves and your points of view. Debate fellow members. But avoid personal attacks and profanity. Pretty please, with sugar on top (for all you Pulp Fiction fans :-)

Now, kindly return to your corners, come out posting and no hitting below the belt please. An all out brawl doesn't help anyone.
