Investors may want to start considering a peaceful protest or two in front of the Alberta Legislature and Securities buildings. The media would need to be contacted before hand and organization would take several days as awarness of the protest could be made public. The theme could be the overall integrity of the markets and how our situation of the CEO being able to throw away at least 91% of the votes from our company, this figure could have easily been 97% had all shares of the company been voted.

There are a lot of investors in Alberta in the markets in general, they should be made aware of what type of market they are invested in and most have probably already have had unfavourable experiences where the playing feild never seems to be fair. The problems with the markets will remain to exist if no action is taken and every bit of your pensions are at risk should the big guys ever decide to hit the markets by selling all stock and adding a shorting sc heme on top that leave the little guys looking at worthless stocks and the rich shorters walking away with all the little guys contributions. If the markets can,t uphold integrity to the small degree that we ask, how would they be able to uphold a mass hit like 2008. Think of how every gold stock was hit during the first quarter of 2012 and the price of gold was the highest it ever was. Think of how some of these companies sp,s were hit and driven well below the market cap of what they had in their treasuries. Ridiculous, but this is a sign of how fragile and controlled the markets are, and how they are more and more becoming feeding grounds for the big guys, while the little guy gets constantly plundered. And for the securities and government to put up statements about how they protect shareholders in these markets, could very well be a misleading statement of which we are presently seeing evidence of with SLI.
