How do they evaluate Corporate Management and Directorship?
http://www.bcimc.com/publications/pdf/ResponsibleInvesting/CorporateGovernancePrinciplesProxyVotingGuidelines.pdf
Why did I post this?
For all those that think the concerns revolving the conduct of Management and its Directors are just some crazy nonsense dreamed up by a bunch of tin foil hat conspiracy theorists who happen to wander the internet investment boards...
...turns out corporate responsibility and accountability IS A REAL THING that even the largest investment management firms in Canada expect the same from the company's they invest in...and imagine the logic that they use these guidelines to determine how they vote their proxies...amazing.
