Vancouver, BC, November 4, 2012 St. Elias Mines Ltd announced today that the Annual General and Special Meeting of Shareholders scheduled for 11 a.m. on November 30, 2012 has been cancelled.

The cancellation will allow for additional time for St. Elias to engage in discussions with a proposed new director nominee with world class expertise, and to discuss other aspects of the composition of the Board with the TSX Venture Exchange.
