Thanks for the post today on the update of the Q&A, and where to find it all.
Who would think to look in the link (heading) "News" BECAUSE, it is not news, it is a question, is it not? It was a few days ago, just a question. Which actually got updated, because there was a post that possibly proved the original answer to the question wrong? Is this not all correct?
I thought I signed up a long time ago to receive emails for news releases. I have always received them, but I did not receive an email for this news release: (So then why is it hidden in the Nov NR section??)
As it says below, posted in: questions, I think means questions, NOT a news release?
So, why? Why is all this changing, and why has it been updated daily, many parts?

NO
Apparently clarification is required for the above answer as this question was again asked with reference to this 15th of August 2007 news release http://www.steliasmines.com/storage/news_releases/Sli-News-2007-24-FINAL.pdf.
A PIMA machine was used in the field at Vilcoro a couple of years to deternine the different clay assembalages associated with that type of mineralizion and mineraized setting occuring at Vilcoro.
A PIMA machine is different from an XRF machine.
At Tesoro – a XRF machine was considered in order to tell anomalous (but not quantified as to PPM’s, PPB;s or g/t) just anomalous within the specific data set. It was decided not to be used as it is best for base metals (lead zinc, silver and copper). The team have used and continue to use XRF machines on different IGD and SLI projects,. BUT. when it comes to gold – the XRF machine is not accurate at all. A regular stainless steel kitchen spoon that the team tested showed over 10g./t gold.
XRF was not a technology that was useful for us at Tesoro.
