Here is a link to the Angus Reid Forum. The purpose of this post is to show you how to voice your concerns with the markets and most notably our current circumstance as SLI shareholders. What is happening to us, is not confined to this stock, it affects each and every Canadian inadvertly. Its a serious matter and light has to be shed on these things to get them corrected at the appropriate levels, to effect change for all. It is an ever increasing known fact that the majority of hard working honest peoples money doesn,t seem to grow in investments or pensions. We put money into our pensions for retirement, but if you do the math over the years, it may actually surprise you how much that money is worth to you when you retire, because of inflation and if the portion of it that was invested by our government in stocks, got hit by the stock market games, then its a good chance your pension will not grow like it should, because as you keep putting your contributions in, there could be someone playing with the stocks reaping the profits on these investments as pension money comes into the system. So, your pension money stays stagnant, because any growth is usually captured by the market players that skim this growth off your investments by moving the stocks up and down, and as of late, a lot of undervalued stock situations artificially occur, because of this. So, I think you get the picture. Remember the stock crash a few years back, everyone didn,t lose money in that crash, the shorters became very rich, and the bigger players had exited much sooner than anyone else and helped set the wheels in motion to the downside. The biggest losers in that crash, were the pension funds , the small guy that was/is not allowed to short and the common people, thats who took the brunt. So, I guess, if you want to look at that a little different, you may see that you were taken advantage of, because the rules were not in your favour and the tools were not available to you to protect yourself, like others had. That is not unlike what is happening now with us in SLI. We have lost over $200 million off our market cap, a lot of hard working peoples money gone on paper for now, and some peoples gone completely because they were scared and forced to sell in fear. And here we are, trying to make every attempt at protecting ourselves, at the mercy of regulators that will decide whats good for us. This is not right, it is already presented strongly and supportively why this is not in our best interests what has been happening to us, yet we fail to see action from the appropriate authorities, its time for change.
