Excellent post iced, I know how you feel, and just for the record, I'm a lot older than you and have invested most of what my family and I had. Our TFSAs are all used up yet nothing in them anymore, and of course can't claim any capital losses either. We thought this was going to let me and my wife finally retire without worries, but of course it didn't work out that way.

After Brex and Nortel, I didn't touch the stock market any more, until I was told about SLI and its potential.

The only reason I'm still in SLI is the expectation that there are some things management/Lori has not told us and because what is left of my money is so small in comparison, that I may as well leave it sitting where it is and see where it will end up.
