It was my understanding as per a release that some of the sampling from the extensive trenching would be bulk sampling.
Also, there was a considerable amount of bagged high grade vein material sitting on the Tesoro waiting for the EIS permit back last May 2011. Some of this bagged material was supposed to have come from the C-4 (I believe), which was stated as being a very high grade vein and consistent grade, quite possibly the richest vein to date as of ~2010 on the property. There is also stock piled low grade development material that was mentioned somewhere long ago I believe of having an estimated gold grade of 1-3 g/t?. I believe at Barricks Pasca Lama project that their high grade stock pile of ore averages ~3 g/t for comparison.
There is mention in the 2010 tech report of samples coming from stockpiles of the C-1,C-2,A-4 and even the new Cactus Zone, in which I have to say has never been put out in a news release, and has samples as high as 50 g/t or over. There is also mentioning of trenching done in the Cactus Zone, that has never seen the light of day. This zone appears to be rich also and along a fracture off a main fault. In the mining stock report, there is also mention of several more gold zones found on the property, that we haven,t heard of in a NR, and its possible bulk sampling could have been taken from these as well.
The Quantec did find a whole totally new corridor of what has to be mineralized bigger than the main corridor. The Quantec also suggests many veins/alteration in this area that may have been uncovered with the trenching project. But for the extreme lack of information in the NR,s and the website, we are unable to get a clear picture and therefore, our ability to make reasonable investing decisions is non existent.
