I hate to make you all sicker, but here it goes.
I took an hour or so and looked at Goldquests tech report from last year. Although their deposit is quite different than ours and a rare stratiform one at that, the minerals that set off the Quantec for them are much the same for us, as is in any gold deposit where you follow the path finder sulphides. The sulphides give the chargeability anomalies in pink and red that you see on the Quantec geophysics.
I see they have veins on the property up to 2 m wide and their silicified zones , around 50cm wide ,containing gold consist of quartz veinlets going through the altered rock, much the same as ours as per documented areas in our historical data.It seems their best hits are on a plateau in a valley, our property is a plateau. The highest surface grade of gold I saw for them, without digging extensively was actually low considering their grades at depth, IMO, around 5 g/t. Anyways, here is their news release from yesterday and their best hole, 94 was drilled right in 1 of their anomalies, and I will put the excerpt from the release below the NR link;
http://www.goldquestcorp.com/index.php/news/2012-news/170-goldquest-intercepts-significant-mineralization-at-romero-dominican-republic-includes-235-metres-grading-4-7-g-t-gold-using-50-g-t-gold-cut-off-or-7-9-g-t-gold-uncut-and-1-4-copper-in-hole-ltp-094
"“The gold and copper mineralization remains open at depth and in all directions, with variations of grade and metal content perhaps related to greater or lesser porosity of the host rocks, where the gold and copper sulphide mineralization has been emplaced within a volcanic sequence,” commented Julio Espaillat, GoldQuest’s CEO, “All the holes reported are within the Romero Induced Polarization (IP) anomaly, and step out drilling will continue to test this 500 meter by 300 meter target. Reporting of drill holes in the future will include a formally calculated data top and bottom cut, rather than the arbitrary 50 g/t top cut used to date.”
The above holes were drilled in the Chargeability anomaly that are like what we have, chargeability anomalies. The Quantec is very accurate in relating to the mineralized intercepts and an estimated grade seems easily applied because of this. Apparently, the geophysics has identified 10 targets for them to test drill and I believe this may only be the first or so. I also see the geophysics identified another corridor for them the same as Quantec identified a new longer corridor for us that has virtually not been tested by drills and only one ever sample to come from it that assayed 2.5 oz/t.
Goldquests results are what we should be getting or maybe higher in some of our anomalies.
