Keep in mind, the opinions on this site are for the most part speculation and are not necessarily the opinions of the company WITHOUT PREJUDICE
There was a call to action challenge put out by Jim Sinclair a bit ago, where small companies could sort of band together and support the absurd downturn in gold stock companies. Even though it was a move in the best interests of shareholders, there didn,t appear to be one that would step up to the plate to do something about this and help protect shareholders. But it seems every company is well aware of what went on in the orchestrated manipulation of many stocks, but instead of trying, they simply seem to say "what can I do", sad. They could have all banded together to change things out of consideration of their shareholders, companies, their own pays, but instead, chose to do nothing. This is partially why you are seeing many CEO,s called as maybe being incompetent, they failed to act when they could have, so much credibility has been lost. I don,t believe the dark clouds over these CEO,s will disapate this time, too many investors are sick of it and are taking matters into their own hands because fudiciary duties have been neglected by so many companies. The institutions may have troubles financing so many companies in the future, so the retail aspect will have to be relied on, to fill the gap. But if the retail are a victim of the current dimise, many companies will not make it, and get caught in the inward spiral of the financial system. Companies had a chance to unite and protect their funding, instead they chose to just sit on their hands and see what happens, instead of being proactive and securing their futures. We are ok, we will survive because of our unique strong shareholder base, but many may not.
The real winners here in the short frame, was all the shorters that took part in a hit to all the gold stocks, they filled their pockets and walk away leaving some companies to die a slow death. Where there may be 1 winner that has gained much in this scenario, there are probably 1000 that have lost, that indicates an implosion with the rich and powerful becoming even more so, at the extreme expense of so many others.
