The donations to charities by an individual or a company are great PR and are also a tax right off. Many companies are donating to charities for this exact reason. If Lori decided to fund this thing personally with her own money, everyone would still be complaining because Lori gets her money from SLI. How does she win. This show was done on Feb 10/2012 and I know our share price had just recently taken a nose dive, but this company is unique in that we have in the past slowly but steadily walked our way back up to the original value. At that time I don't think even Lori's crystal ball could tell her that a similar thing would not happen again.

I don't see anyone complaining about Lori donating sandals to poor Peruvian children in the past. Evidence of this is at the 32:50 minute mark of this site.
