On a personal note, in observing my own reactions to NR's since I bought SLI stock ( relatively lately compared to some of you ) even though this investment is not going to make or break me, I still tend to view released information in a positive or negative light and if I perceive it to be negative, it can really affect my outlook on the stock. What I'm trying to say is some people that post here seem to be in the position that if this stock does not do well, it's going to be a disaster for them. It means lifetime savings gone - a scary position to be faced with. That brings real fear quickly to the surface. I have to say that while it is good to keep a positive attitude, we need to be equally diligent to make sure we're not allowing ourselves to be carried too far the other way - so that when the market punishes share price or what we hoped to hear from an NR doesn't come to pass, or good things aren't happening quickly enough - we don't slip into the pit of despair and mourn that all is lost - that's an emotional rollercoaster that nobody can afford to ride indefinitely. Keeping posts on this forum as factual as possible will go a long way to helping fellow investors on a steady course rather than dramatic swings up, down and sideways.
