Hello everyone.
First of all, this is off topic but no one goes there and there is nothing else to talk about so, don't read if you have no sense of humor. We need to just lighten up a bit and laugh! Laugh lines are a lot better than stress lines.
Well, share price is still down so I was unable to buy my new SUV; headed to River Cree with my trusty "Mabelene", a few liters of gas and a couple of gallons of oil. I made it there, unfortunately I had to use my cheerleading costume to wipe up the oil spill in the parking lot so sorry, Bow, know I promised you but I couldn't do it. Arrived just in time for the puck drop. It was a very exciting hockey game with lots of scoring. I think score was 10 to 11. To me it seemed the referee never left center ice, busy dropping puck. Good on him to volunteer if he had just starting skaking lessons.
Very nice to see some of the people I'd met before, Ed44, Molson200, ldsands, WOXOF and to meet new ones, theDon1, spfunk, R2D2, Bow2U, MrsC. Also met Rinky who I found out was an old friend from way back, 35+years ago and I'm sure with all the positive and longs there last night his "SS Minnow" will be filled with happy people.
What an honor to have Sculpin travel so far and to meet him. And Kherson, also from the east coast, but I was disappointed to not meet him, seems he left early? but long day for him and maybe he was still on lobster time. Didn't meet Kemo either but he must have snuck out and maybe had a long drive home. You hub leaders have kept so many of us hanging in there.
Meeting was great, no new news but we knew that; other than Murry did say he thought around 25 holes drilled and samples in lab and believe some trenching samples in lab as well. Waiting for news soon. Big door prize of $510 but I think Ed44 rigged it cause I had a pile of tickets but not even close to winning it lol.
You can tell it is spring and love is in the air cause several times Ed44 interrupted to call out this dream to meet "Princess Butterfly" and of course MrsC with her tight black dress showing lots of cleavage was wooing all the men around her. I'm kind of more interested in the big burly types like Sculpin (Captain Highland type) but there were lots for both of us.
Unfortunately I had to leave suddenly cause they were towing Mabelene away for being in a "No Parking" zone but seems the activity was just starting. ldsands, what a phenomenal one man band! Absolutely amazing! Thank you! Could have listened to you all night. Don't know if Sculp did show off his golden thong or not, maybe Molson can fill in later.
SLI is absolutely an amazing company. The comaraderie in the room really made it seem like family. So yes, SLI long and strong and positive things will be happening soon. Murry said he believes between 70 to 80 million shares are held, 70% in that room last night. It is a feel that perhaps news will be delivered in Alberta.
A great time and meeting organized by Bow, Murry and Alice. Thank you all. My only disappointment was I know there were many other investors I would have liked to meet. Kind of wish we would have had name tags but anyhow, with a full room it was impossible to meet everyone. Seems many don't match their avators lol.
