Message: Some misconceptions on narrow veins.

So we hear some whining by the nay sayers about how the veins on the Tesoro are narrow. To make that statement and not elaborate when there is tons of room to do so, where the Tesoro is concerned, only reveals the ignorance and intent of those posters. I will do some of their elaborating for them.

The main veins on the Tesoro are considered narrow, but that statement, by no means, states that the Tesoro cannot be a very profitable mine. Its a misconception.

The 4 main zones on the Tesoro, as known from pre 2010 time, are clusters of veins, not comprised of singular veins. Furthermore, within these clusters, are numerous smaller gold bearing veins that have never been recorded or sampled or added to the 9km of recorded veins. To be considered a main vein on the Tesoro, it had to be 30m long or greater, 70% continuous and wider than 5 cm. The problem that this could create when trying to realize the economics of the zones is, when you have off shoots from main high grade veins, the off shoots will usually tend to be a lot higher grade. If these off shoots and smaller veins carrying high grade gold, are emanating in every direction, taking up large areas through the already mineralized diorite/grano diorite, well you get the picture, it could become incredibly rich ground. When looking at the economics and keeping in mind that the average main gold bearing veins for miles around, seem to be ~16 g/t, and you need around a 1 g/t for an open pit, and we have non quartz mineralized zones around ~ 1 g/t, again, do I have to say more?

Well, I will. The outcropping exposure on the Tesoro is ~30%, this means that veins cannot be seen from the surface on 70% of the property, unless you trench. It is stated in tech reports that this overburden is shallow around places of interest. It is also suspected that the Canchete, Central and Sur zones are all connected under this shallow volcanic cover , if so, this will add several km to the current 9 km of main veins. I believe Gluckenstein did a quick guestimate on the 9 km of veins and came up with ~2 million ounces. He also didn,t take into account the mineralized alteration zones or the anomalies that the Quantec has revealed after his calculations. Nor the new found north corridor on the property which revealed a 2.5 oz sample from a new vein, and is 6-7 km long.

So, you can see, by saying "its got narrow veins, leave it alone", that you are missing the points entirely. Narrow veins on this property does not make the economics or the mine, its the other things that I have mentioned here that ADD to them, that can make one very profitable venture.

This info comprised of 2 tech reports from the property and news releases, so if its wrong, its not my fault.

IMO
