I made a post on here around the first of March about Candente and how it borders the north border of our CB. I also mentioned that part of their deposit, the Quebrada Verde, the most southern extension, looks like it is on strike with our CB. This is why I would like to see IGD put some holes on CB to check for copper under the gold, or elsewhere. I believe this has to be done right away, whereas if Candente gets an offer, the bidder may be interested in CB as well, if we can prove some copper. All the more reason for IGD/SLI to ramp up exploration at the CB, IMO.
As you can see,in the link, the election last year may have slowed things down with them in regard to a takeover because of the new mining tax. Also not mentioned here, there is expansion of an existing port (i think Etan), I believe the closest to CB, by 3 different entities, one of them Chinese. Also notice in the link where Candente has ~10 NDA,s signed. I have also added a link I think some will find interesting about Chinas ties and presence in Peru.
