I was amazed to see this, I thought the average cost would be much lower, around $600-700 an ounce.

I believe we did some figuring awhile ago that maybe the Tesoro could be mined open pittable around $200-300 per ounce? Or maybe less, I know it was cheap.but just forget what numbers we used.
