Message: Naive ???--Maybe--Maybe Not

Hey Folks;

After 8 plus years with SLI--and counting--I for one, should be one of those that is getting impatient with the lack of drill results and / or trenching and assay results. But-- I'm NOT. Maybe the multitude of years I've lived has taught me to be more patient than many on this hub---or Maybe I'm just naive, and then again maybe I'm not. Lets look at what it was that taught me to be patient.

With over 35 years in the oilpatch, and over 20 of them in the drilling of oil and gas wells, I've had a lesson or two in patience. When a well that is supposed to take three weeks, has problems, and in fact winds up taking four months, thats right (4 months ) you indeed learn the meaning of the word patience The cause can be rock sluffing in on the drill bit and pipe and jamming the drill from turning, or an underground river or coal seam stealing all your drilling fluids so your pipe has no lubrication making it impossible to turn. I felt very lucky to be the one colllecting the wage--not paying the bill. These things are all possible withour drills.

Risky business--drilling-- and mining--- as is the Venture Exchange. Not for the weak at heart, and certainly not for those who can't afford to lose. I'm quite sure that Walt Disney felt the same way when he couldn't afford to pay his secretary working in that dirty old garage selling stupid little cartoon carricatures---but his belief and his dream kept him alive till it finally paid off.

Whats this got to do with our little investment??? Everything.! I'm quite sure that there is nothing Lori would rather do than tell us all--we just hit big paydirt and your dividend cheque will be $30 dollars per share ---- but she can't do that without drill and assay results. Could she keep us a little better informed---maybe-- but it seems to me that every time she tries, she gets kicked in the proverbial butt cuz she didn't have enuff info to satisfy us all.

I've only met Lori once ( this fall at the AGM ) but I've watched her at meetings for the last 8 years, and she has not changed one little bit. Fiesty, determined, focused, and totally independant. Just the way a CEO should be---no ones going to push her into some place she don't wanna go.

Like it or not --thats what you invested in. Thats whats kept me here for the last 8 years and thats also what will keep me here to the end. The paydirt has NOt changed, just the share price and the length of time its taken to prove it up. Sit back, relax, have a lime beer and don't let the rest of your ride scare you enuff to force you off the rollercoaster. Hell its over a hundred feet to the ground---your gonna get hurt.

Rinky
