One thing about GPS is that the signal can be lost for no apparent reason in certain locations and then reappear after moving away from the place where the signal was lost. While delivering a small plane from Nova Scotia to Ontario one time we were navigating with a GPS and sectional maps and over a certain spot East of Kingston Ont. we lost GPS signal and it reappeared after 5 minutes or so. I think that same experience has happened to many other people as well.

That's my opinion and I am sticking to it.
