Keep in mind, the opinions on this site are for the most part speculation and are not necessarily the opinions of the company WITHOUT PREJUDICE
let me be perfectly clear I'm NOT saying that SLI has any intention of turning Tesoro into a producing Gold mine. I'm simply implying that the potential is there on the propriety to produce a substantial revenue stream over the next few months to fund further exploration, remember we have another 12,000 acres that we can explore while at the same time helping establish a 43-101 compliant resource estimate. Some of these funds could also be directed to exploring Vilcoro.
Lori made mention of SLI being a producer in her Fox interview but to be perfectly honest I think it was a verbal gaffe, although I may be wrong.
The reason I think (speculate) that there maybe more planed for Tesoro than simple a diamond drilling program comes from the Companies last NR.
Now looking back at the companies previous drill programs a startling contrast emerges.
When we drilled Cueava Blanca we had 2 drill rigs and one Geo., John Brophy overseeing the drilling. When we drilled Portugal we had 3 drill rigs turning and 2 Geo's, Alan Matthews, our JV partner and John Brophy looking after the drilling.
Now for Tesoro we have no less than 4 Geo's (possibly 6) James Thom, Paul Gray, and the 2 new hires, George Sivertz, who has extensive experience exploring and developing Gold deposits in Latin America, especially Peru and Tep Salazar with over 18 years of mineral exploration in Peru.
Throw in Harold Waller from Peru who has over 50 years experience in exploration for precious metals. We must not forget Kevin Killen from Quantec and last but not least our own Lloyd Brewer, project manager.
Add to the mix the new Company we just contracted which along with a myriad of other services specializes in logistics and the sourcing of professional exploration and mining personnel.
Why do we need, as Lori says "a formidable team" like we have if we only have 2 drills turning with a third on the distant horizon? Seems like a little over kill to me.
Note what Lori says at the end of the NR "This team has the ability to rapidly (i like that) and efficiently design, execute and ramp up exploration and "development" on our on our gold projects in Peru"
I maybe totally off base but it appears to me more will be happening on Tesoro than meets the eye.
