This last line in your post, BOW;

It was said on BNN today by an explorer there that only about 15% of Peru has been explored for minerals yet. It is the richest place on earth for metals and they are found there in variety and abundance. Peru is also home to some of the richest mines in the world, if developement had been going on there 50 years ago, Peru would most likely be number one today in mineral resources.
