I am wondering if our Hub Leaders would comment on SLI's announcement on January 10th of having to qualify the nugget effect on chemical assays for our assays. An internet search has indicated that this effect can have a large effect on underestimating gold content.
Estimates increasing from 1 - 2 g/t initally to 24 - 36 g/T in some cases after considering this effect. The nugget effect may make a large difference in overall gold content of these assays ? Chemical assays were referenced; would not a fire assay have provided a better quantitative analysis of this effect. Any thoughts ?
