We are considering the first 500m as shallow, IMO. I usually call shallow in other companies around the range of 0-400m. Most epithermal gold systems are within this range. Also, if you look in the tech report, it will show you what it calls shallow targets.
"At what depth do you consider the "surface" or "shallow" portion ends and the anomaly begins?"
The anomaly almost breaches the surface around Zona Sur, but you can,t see this on the anomaly pictures because everything below 16 mlrd,s has been omitted. You can see it if you look at the first Quantec 9 line survey.
Lori has said the heart of the big anomaly is around 600m below the surface. I believe she thinks that the highest quanity of gold will be found there. The highest grades could also be found there, but I think they will be found deeper, why else would she be looking for a deep feeder zone? It would take a mining company 15 years to get down to the 600-700m level, and most likely longer if this gold is wide spread over the entire property. Keep in mind these timelines are based on the open pit bulk tonnage method. If this would have to be shaft mining, they could do it quicker by targeting the highest grade area and sinking a shaft there. I am not totally sure that shaft mining would be quicker, its an assumption.
